Cherokee 24 Kit
The Cherokee 24 is the fourth model in our Front Yard Fighters series! This model is a slight departure from the warbirds that make up the rest of the FYF line, but the build and performance are very much the same as the rest of the series. Like the full-scale Cherokee which is a classic general aviation aircraft, this profile rendition will surely become a favorite at your local field! The lightweight and resilient EPP and carbon construction makes it possible for you to experience a wide performance envelope. This means that no matter how you like to fly, you’ll enjoy both stability and maneuverability without any sacrifice in precision or control feel. We took the Cherokee subject and gave it the 3D EPP treatment! We are pretty sure Piper never intended for their aircraft to hover or do rolling harriers, but there is nothing stopping you from doing them with this model!
The goal of the Front Yard Fighter Series is about having an indoor/outdoor flyer that can stand up to the punishment encountered during a normal flying session at your local venue while still having crisp flight control.

Built from a mix of 3mm and 6mm EPP foam as well as premium carbon rods and strips for stiffness, the Cherokee 24 weighs in at a scant 111g AUW with paint and landing gear! The light weight comes, in part, from a modest 2S brushless power system that provides more than 1:1 thrust to weight ratio, but isn't intimidating to even the newest of pilots!
